Business Development Manager, Telco Business Messaging & AI

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated business development manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts and developing programs that incorporate AI, chatbots and analytics with a focus on the telecommunications industry. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience with chatbots, AI technologies and data science. Additionally, knowledge of telco systems and system architecture is required. Business Development Manager, Telco Business Messaging & AI Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies for advanced analytics, AI, and business messaging, including market analysis, competitor research, and trend forecasting
  • Deliver high quality partner pitches, negotiate and close deals and ensure program delivery as per agreed KPI (key performance indicator)
  • Foster strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for program performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to drive the execution of projects and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date and develop a deep understanding of latest developments in AI, messaging and analytics technologies and telco systems
  • Travel as needed for business purposes (approximately 30% of the time) to meet with partners and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the technology industry
  • Knowledge of telco systems and system architecture
  • Either 3+ years of experience in data science/AI engineering OR hands-on experience with LLM, RAG, and other generative AI technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels in a fast-paced environment
