The People Data Review Program Manager supports our risk assessment and HR compliance incl. People Data Privacy program. Our organization is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Meta People Compliance Risk Management program. The People Data Review Program Manager will lead cross-functional reviews to assess the impact of People Program, Product or Experiences launches on People organization’s compliance risk posture and advise on risk mitigation strategies. In this role, you'll work closely across People@, Engineering, Employment and Privacy Legal. The ideal person will have proven risk management skills, a critical thinker with a product mindset, attention to detail, be self-motivated, and have a collaborative and positive attitude.
Program Manager, People Data Review Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end employment and privacy assessment for new and novel People related programs, projects and products to mitigate risk in line with business risk tolerance.
  • Collaborate with key Legal, Privacy and HR business programs and product owners define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams and respective leadership.
  • Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
  • Develop and own communication plans to communicate program status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders.
  • Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables.
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure HR Compliance is not compromised.
  • Manage relationships both internal and external to Meta People organization.
  • Be motivated by the opportunity to solve complex problems and comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of designing and implementing regulatory risk management and compliance programs in a fast paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and security laws, and regulations, as well as willingness to quickly learn the content and requirements of various employment laws, regulations, industry guidance, and company compliance policies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale data systems, and experience interpreting bottlenecks in complex systems and partnering with teams to resolve architectural issues, with experience adapting to new technology and participating in design discussions.
  • Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experience executing risk assessments in a green field without existing playbooks or prior art
Preferred Qualifications
  • JD or MBA and or professional services experience.
  • Second line of defense risk management or internal audit experience within the technology industry.

$129,000/year to $189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
